Jemma's Story

Born in Sydney, Jemma spent most of her childhood moving anywhere and everywhere between her father’s homeland in Australia and her mother’s native Wales. Her familial ties to both countries has impacted her art practice because of her desire to delve into the history of both Celtic and Aboriginal cultures. 

Jemma studied both Art and Performing Arts at college, specialising in set design. This love of painting at such a large scale branched out and became the reason she enjoys painting murals. She is passionate about all the arts, regularly writing songs and poems as well. Ultimately, Jemma is a storyteller. She hopes her art can invoke interesting narratives from the viewer that will allow them to appreciate the beautiful tales she shares through her paintings.

Her pieces have been displayed in galleries and shows all over the UK, USA, Europe and Australia. Having had paintings featured in British Vogue and Times Square NY, she has dedicated collectors across the globe.
